Wood Streets

The Wood Streets is one of our favorite neighborhoods in Riverside. We're a bit biased since Connie has lived in this neighborhood since 1968, and Charlotte bought the home from Connie in 2005. The fact that this area was originally devoted to orange groves is reflected in the grid layout of the community. Known for it's cohesive neighborhood design, the Wood Streets has a great mixture of quaint, California bungalows, 1940's cottages. and a few large vintage custom homes. The new (2013) Ryan Bonnamino Park in the arroyo is a wonderful addition to this neighborhood, offering a great location to enjoy family picnics, baseball games, and hikes up Mount Rubidoux. The Tequesquite Community Garden is also in the park offering a wonderful way to get involved with other Wood Street residents. You can join the Wood Streets Historic District Association, or the Wood Streets Green Team The proximity to downtown makes it easy to enjoy all that our vibrant downtown corridor has to offer.
